How do I prepare?

• Avoid caffeinated drinks and alcohol preferably for one week prior to your appointment but no less than within 72 hours of your scheduled appointment time. These aforementioned act as blood thinners and can cause excessive bleeding. Excessive bleeding will result in results that can be unpredictable.

• Avoid plucking or waxing your brows within 72 hours of your scheduled appointment. You may however get your brows threaded within that timeframe.

• Avoid exfoliators 72 hours before services. Ex. Skincare products that contain glycolic acid, Retin A, Renova, and alpha hydroxyl acids.

• Avoid botox injections as this may result in an uneven brow shape when the injection wears. You may resume injections after you have completed services.

A local anesthetic is applied during the service, shortly after services have begun. On a scale from 1-10, most clients rate the service a 3 and deem the procedure tolerable. Please know that ABZ is 100% committed to ensuring your comfort during the appointment. Headphones and books are recommended as a distraction and may be brought to your appointment. We do numb clients half-way through our services and clients most often do not feel any sensation after numbing.
