IN THIS LESSON

Microblading is the least permanent of all PMU services.

Microblading is a technique that results in what many would describe as a more realistic brow type. However, this can be misleading as microblading is most ideal for those with existing hair as hairstrokes should be implanted in the direction of hair growth. Unfortunately, microblading can also be limited by skin type, and the clients who are candidates for this service are fewer. Oily skin types are not ideal, and results can be extremely unpredictable. Depending upon your skin type, hair strokes often bleed into one another, and results can heal less crisp than originally implanted.

If a client continues to receive microblading services on a long-term basis, the brow could eventually appear to be more of a solid fill. Because of this, microblading clients may eventually become ombre powder (micro shading) clients over the years.

Despite advances in technology, microblading is the least permanent of all PMU services, and microblading clients require more frequent touch-ups. If you would like this service, consult with us on your options and what you can expect based upon your skin-type.
