Are brows sisters or twins?
We have all heard brows are sisters, not twins". And that is simply is a playful way of saying that eyebrows may not be perfectly identical. Bone structure can affect eyebrow symmetry. Muscle dynamics, underlying bones of the forehead and brow area, including the shape of the brow ridges and the positioning of the eye sockets, influence how eyebrows appear. Since most people have some degree of natural asymmetry in their facial bones and features, this can result in eyebrows that are not perfectly symmetrical. This is a normal variation and contributes to the unique character of each individual’s face. Each eyebrow is naturally different from the other, and aiming for close symmetry rather than exact matching is usually more realistic and aesthetically.
